there is IE on the computer but i installed Firefox on them and as you can you 94% of the people use firefox, i need to go update to 2.0.

There is an official college representatives program put on by Firefox that can be found on Facebook by clicking here. Then scroll down and the link is on the right hand side. I joined and they are shipping us t-shirts and giveaways in time for a promotional party on the 19th.

Thunderbird Setup Instruction for Students

Only some schools provide email client documentation that includes Thunderbird. The College Reps could get their schools to post documentation for Thunderbird. That way even the least tech savvy student won't get stuck using Outlook just because they don't know how to configure Thunderbird.

Hello, I am a 10th grader and a firm believer in Firefox. Right now I am trying to convince my school to convert to Firefox. I was wondering if there is anyway that I can make a install CD to show some of the teachers and the network department (all 3 of them).

I have been trying to get this done since last year but know I think it is time to be more vocal. I already made a Firefox 2 vs. IE7 Powerpoint presentation for my Computer Application class.

Any help and tips would be appreciated.

i have recently seen a site megaforumup.com with free forum hosting,which is very common and there are many sites for that.
But,what made me to post here is that they are offering 50% revenue sharing from the free forum.

what is this?? I cannot beleive how they can do like?? Is this a fraud?? or anything else please clear my doubt.

I've been sporting about portable firefox at school for awhile now, a little over a year, and I've gotten people asking me, "How'd you get IE to look like that?" etc.

Well, I've currently talked to the Network Admin of the school and conviced him to install it and even give a little demo during our weekly assembly.

Aside from that, I'm going to be posting a FEW flyers around school on the bulletin board so any info/layouts I could use for that would be wonderful.

I do not go to the tradional brick and motar univeristy. I am, however, a bachelor degree student at American-InterContinental University Online www.aiuonline.edu

I have include text signatures in my AIU mail signature. I even found a few professors and many students that prefer Firefox.

I can access the campus with Firefox but cannot post to discussion boards or upload assignments.

I feel this way about my education. If I am paying for my education that I should be able to use what browser I am comfortable with and that is Firefox. I should not be forced to use IE (yuck)

I'm getting the word out at my school with flyers and such. I posted a comment over at Firefox Flicks how i think the older pc users is crucial and would be very beneficial to get them to switch over. I can provide a example my Dad he is computer literate but kinda set in his ways and was useing ie for along time i had to kind of walk him threw it explaining the benefits and some of the extensions that really can make whatever your doing more proficient, but its a bit more of a challenge with the older crowd but like i said well worth it.

FIrefox should go on a tour of campuses across the US with a couple of Bands. Maybe one Indie/punk and the other a hip hop group. This will diversify the crowd and spread the word further. Make the shows free or as cheep as possible.
