I got a detention for downloading Firefox today. They even threatened a suspension if I continue to use it.

Accidently deleted my stored passwords; HELP!

While in a hurry to look up a stored password for a specific website, I accidentally clicked the "Remove All" button instead of "Show Passwords" (don't ask me how I managed to confuse the two, as well as click OK on the confirm dialog; I tend to do things on my computer without paying attention all the time).

Anyhow, is there any way to recover these passwords (it was a long list; many of them will be hard or next to impossible to get back!) or am I screwed?

What can I do with my points??

wireless signal drops to Low/Very Low within 3/4 meters of router

Can anyone help with a persistent issue I am having with my Belkin 54g Wireless router?
The signal I am getting is terrible (really bad!), if I move 3/4 meters away from the router and into the next room with my laptop then the signal drops to Very Low or cuts off (as WinXP reports it).

I have been through all the procedures, firmware update, change the channel, change positioning with Belkin. They have even sent me a replacement router - completely brand new one. The problem still persists. I can't seem to get a way around this one.

I've had a reply on another forum (http://www.codingforums.com/showthread.php?t=115287) stating that my walls could be made out of lead. However, the previous owner had wireless in the room I am trying to work in and i'm sure they would put up with terrible signal and bad speeds. The property is 50 years old and don't know what the walls are made out of.

Is there anything else I can try to remedy?

Sites differ in Internet Explorer and Firefox

I was disappointed to see that when I viewed my website in the Internet Explorer browser, the blog portion of the site is way down toward the bottom instead of aligned with the modules on the side. Strange. In Firefox, its just fine.

I rarely use I.E. anymore (although admittedly, the latest version is exceptional) but it still bothers me because I know potential visitors will most likely have Internet Explorer, and I need it to look good in all browsers.

Any suggestions? My page is here.

Hello.

I am pacarama. I have been using firefox for about a year and think it is brilliant. I am a big fan of open source software and would like to start using Linux. However, i share a computer and do not want to replace Windows as the other users want to continue using it. If i download Linux, will i be able to switch between the 2 and uninstall Linux if i want to.
