Download count not updating
What's wrong?
Fx Downloads ScreenSaver
continuing with my idea to spread the SFx (spreadfirefox) community, I've done a screenSaver that shows the downloads in a different way.
The idea behind is to reach 1 Billion downloads (now is a bit more of a quarter of billion) and show it as a full Firefox logo.
So far if you leave the screensaver running, it shows just 1/4 of the logo as only 1/4 of a billion has been downloaded as per today (11/Jan/2007) and this quater of billion is slowly uncovered by squares (the data collected is transformed into squares, each square represents 200,000 downloads)...
well, better if you check it by yourself :)

flash analogue clock and download counter
it has a little animation to show the number of downloads, has an analogue clock and a link to the download page.
Im not too happy with the rollOver as at the moment nothing happens, I might add sound and replay the number animation as it happens too fast.
Any comments, feedback, ideas, etc, are very wellcomed

...it can't have any links or additional text or that stuff. I just need the number, and can't have anything else on the counter. Please...

A graph...
I think it would be a good idea to have a graph showing the evolution of the download counter : we could see if firefox spreading is a x->exp(x) or a x->log(x) (I hope not...)

What did just happen??
Yesterday, when i went to sleep, the download counter was at 141,766,4xx... (xx because rising too fast)
Today, when i woke up, opened the computer and looked at the counter, i couldnt believe my eyes.
159,7xx,xxx!!! and growing, 200 downloads per second.
18 MILLION DOWNLOADS IN 18 HOURS!!?
then... i noticed the new update. People really do use Firefox!
