Im trying to get CMS for Phoenix Fox and saw that SFX (among many) uses Drupal. Is it any good?

What is the point of the point system? I mean you don't win any thing, you don't have to get them to continue being a member, so is there any point to them?

I'm doing a bit of research on this and want to know what you think.

Ho to do it?I've inserted a one of SFX's buttons (this → ) but if I click on it, I'm redirected to the us/english page! How I can redirect to http://www.mozilla-europe.org/it/ using my account of SFX (don't say someting like "insert the button with a simple link to the page you want").

Feature requests for spreadfirefox.com

The webmasters of spreadfirefox.com are currently working on adding features to the site and expect the new features to be available in March. [1]

I was wondering if anyone has any features that they would like to request. Keep in mind, I am not affiliated with the webmasters. Don't expect all of your ideas to be used, and don't be surprised if none of them are used. It's entirely up to them. I just thought you could use this as an opportunity to let the team know what you would like to see.

spreadfirefox buttons not displaying properly

hi,

i wanted to put a firefox button on my blog which is a technology and web blog in turkish and i came here to get some sweet firefox buttons. ok i copypasted the html code under a button i liked (the same with one at get button and banners) but it when i published the blog it just showed the link and image was not displayed. is it the way it should be or should i go somewhere else for the buttons or banners?

Spreadfirefox.com extension

I check the "track" page pretty often. I think that alot of members would love an extension that notifies them of new posts in topics they're subscribed to. Something like the Adsense Notifier. It would definitely make things a lot easier and would hopefully increase participation in the posts.

I would be willing to do it myself, if I only knew how.

Highlight current project

Alot of people have been talking about improving spreadfirefox.com for the new year. People have been talking about getting more projects going and getting people to be more excited about participating in them.

I think that highlighting the current project would help. Maybe the main page could always have a note that explains what the current project is. I think this would increase awareness about projects, get people more involved, and generally create much more interest in projects. I believe it would also give all of us a reason to come up with more projects because no one's gonna want to see the same project posted up there for months.

I created a mockup just to give you a better idea of what I'm talking about.

SFx, Introduce Yourself

Spread Firefox (and Mozilla in general) is all about community. We have more than 195,000 registered members here with more joining every day. With that being said, I thought that it would be a good idea to have us introduce ourselves.

It’s a good way to bring us all a little closer and perhaps gain some new friends. After all, we all have a common goal and I think that it’s nice to know who you are working with.

Whether you are new to Spread Firefox or a veteran, just simply introduce yourself and add any information that you wish, such as your location, occupation etc.

crashes and pop ups

About two or three days ago FF started crashing and the "send log" window kept popping up messages and queues for messages saying there was something wrong with my proxy settings and the error logs weren't getting through. Then when I tried to open the window, I'd get a crash and when FF disappeared there were IE pop ups underneath it. Seems like some sort of adware has gotten through. Anyone else having these problems? Is there a fix?
