Open ports
I went to "Shields UP!" to test my online security and it showed that most of my ports were open(vulnerable). Well, as a tweaker, I always need top optimization so I started downloading megs of security updates for Internet Explorer. After the patch installations I went back to check my level of security and there were still open ports. I then found out that I had to do registry, dial-up adapter, and other advanced user tweaks to get the security I wanted. Instead I decided to try this Firefox thing which bragged about being more secure(I've heard this before), but the download took less than the overhaul with IE.
After installing Firefox, I went back to check my ports and the online service couldn't detect that my system was even online. I was in stealth mode.
