One thought from a FF newbie (personal about Spreading)

I've spent the last 30 minutes trying to locate screenshots of what FF looks like before I download it.  Maybe having a way for the uninitiated to view what the browser looks like would be a good thing?  As it is, I see no reason to even try it yet.  I came here thinking I'd give it a try, but since I can't find anything except help on how to fix it, I've been put off pretty strongly.

Yes, I believe Mikey has a point here. I naver noticed this before.

Maybe someone should add a "Screenshots" page off the release notes section of GetFirefox.com.

Thanks for that interesting heads up, funny how we never thought, or think of screenshots like everyother browser site, and a Merry Christmas to you.

If I may ask, how were you trying to locate screen shots? And what URL(s) were you trying to go to to get Firefox?

I ask because it could be that there is some site out there that isn't pointing to the right place, or some search engine or search criteria that might need to be keyed to finding that information.

At any rate, the main Firefox download page  http://getfirefox.com actually has a picture, although kind of small right on it.

And if it is screenshots you want, just Google for Firefox screenshots.

And Google also turns up plenty of Reasons to download Firefox.

(Hmm, does MSN image search perhaps censor those?)

Hi:  I've just been looking around the Mozilla site for examples of the UI.  There are so many different scam sites around, I'm overly cautious about going to most of the 3rd party sites.  I figure if the main development site can't get it together, it's not a legitimate product.  Tks for the links.

Merry Christmas 'n Happy Holidays!  (whichever persuasion of holiday you enjoy, may it be a nice one)
