Short IE7 vs Firefox 3 Beta 1

I've noticed how Firefox 3 beta 1 is really nice to my ram. It's very
important to me 'cause my work-machine only got 512 mb of ram, which isn't too
much when working with web development. I've also tried Internet Explorer 7 and
noticed how stuff like switching tabs takes about twice as long as in Firefox 3.
It's only 2 seconds instead of one, but still - I change tabs a lot and don't
like waiting seconds every time.

I opened up some tabs, identically in IE7 and Firefox 3 Beta
1. Screenshots at the bottom. The first pic is just after all the tabs are
loaded in both browsers. This can't be seen upon as real data as the browser
will try to keep as much data as possible in the ram for fast access, but if a
large application comes along it will release it. The second pic is after I've
recovered memory five times:

Internet Explorer 7: 62 MB of RAM
Firefox 3 Beta 1: 41 MB
of RAM
