AUTO REFRESH ISSUE-FORUM-page position on reload

AUTO REFRESH pluging wont preserve MY PAGE LOCATION when it automatically refreshes. This is annoying if you are in a FORUM reading a topic near the bottom of a page. ALL OF A SUDDEN I am back at the top of the page which SUCKS.
ANyone have a solution to this problem?? I want to be at the SAME PAGE POSITION when a REFRESH occurs..........thanks figgy
