115 million visitors?  31%?  Sounds pretty mainstream to me.

I find that interesting! Good on Firefox - I was "converted" (if that is the right word, maybe "set free" suits better) in Jan this year, never looked back!

There is an awful lot of IE6 users and I agree that is scary as it is "unsafe" (more unsafe) compared to IE7. Yet I'm not surprised, my father works for a security firm and hated the upgrade, asked to go back to IE6 and they let him (along with many employees) - which I find ironic. Although 6 is faster and easier (IMHO) and to me, they would find FX just as easy (then discover it's total excellence later) then the "weird" 7 layout.

According to this graph, the uptake of IE 7 over IE 6 seems incredibly slow, especially considering IE 7 is being "pushed out" via windows update. This could be because of businesses refusing to update.

Whatever the reason, IE 6 is holding back web technology (Although IE 7 is still years behind Firefox) and this should be considered an opportunity while it lasts to convert people to Firefox.
