50,000,000 Thunderbird downloads

A little over 2 years after Firefox, its sister project has reached its first fifty million downloads.

The 50,000,000th download was reached at July 12th, 2007 at 15:30:18 UTC.

Back in April 2005, just before Firefox reached the fifty million downloads mark, I launched Firefox Statistics. In September or @31,604,556 I launched Thunderbird Statistics

That rocks!
It's great to see more people finally finding their way to Thunderbird.

I've been using it for as long as I can remember it being out. I decided to try it because I was curious to see if Mozilla's other products were as equally as great as Firefox and Thunderbird certainly is.

It is so much easier to setup and use than people think, and no different than learning any new software.

I also don't think that people realize that you can customize Thunderbird with add-ons just as you do Firefox.

If anyone ever needs it, I'm always available to help with either setting up Tbird, or directing you to where help is.
