Signature problem. Probably been asked before

I´m really having trouble copying and pasting the SFX buttons on my hotmail signature. Only the code is shown, no image or button. I see other people are having the same problem on yahoo. Is there any real solution for this problem or are hotmail yahoo not good for this?
