Well, most of you already now how to optimize your computer. First, your defrag it suing the Windows Defragmentor. You can use Auslogics Defrag buy downloading it at www.download.com. Then you remove those registry entries that are obsolete. You can use Advanced Windows Care for that if you don't now how to delete those entries. Go to www.IObit.com. Then after that, you should defrag your registry. Their are many programs that can do that, unfortunately most of them aren't free. You can find them using download.com, or you can visit giveawayoftheday.com and they might offer one for free.

Install Ubuntu+Windows on the same pc

Do you have some free space (5 giga) on Windows hard disk...?
Then... try Ubuntu
Ubuntu it's easy to install ON THE SAME Windows  pc.
Ubuntu came with Firefox and Thunderbird, OpenOffice Gimp on it.
You can directly access from Ubuntu to your Windows Fat32 or NTFS partition.
You forget spyware, viruses and so on.
You can upgrade ALL installed software with a click.

This is a really speed improvement.

"Get rid of windows and install a real OS instead"!
