Mozilla Firefox, School Edition (sorry I keep on posting about this!!!)

I have finally gotten somewhere with Mozilla Firefox, School Edition. In this post I will go over the features of it and post a link to download it, so it is available for others to change, and then post their revisions in this thread.

Feaures

-Built off of the portable edition, so it can be copied onto any computer without need to install. The original version of  Firefox, Portable Edition is available here. There is a disadvantage though, because it will not work on Mac. If someone knows how to fix that please take the program (below) and do so.

-Comes with relevant addons
-Public Fox: Used to keep settings the same. Prevents the bookmarks, addons, etc.  from                being changed. Note that it is off in the version I post so that It does not interfere with what                we are working on.

-Fasterfox: Makes the internet run faster. I set it to courteous mode so it does not  increase           server load. Also I disabled prefetching.

-Ad Block Plus: Used to block ads. I subscribed to Easy List, and added a few filters that I               find work extremely well.

-Flashblock:  Used to block Adobe (formerly Macromedia) Flash player.

-Fox Filter: Used as a client-level website blocker/filter to work alongside the firewall/server           level one. People please add on to this list. I made a list of more then 7 thousand web         based proxies and blocked them, so it would take great effort to bypass the firewall level filter. And yes, there was an error when I copied the list of proxies I made, and every site is listed like 5 times.

-Splash: Adds a splash screen. Most are pointless, but the portable edition of Firefox takes             longer to load, and students might open like 20 of them because it is taking a while to load,             so i put this in so they know that it is loading.

Here are ways you can help me perfect this program:
-Give me ideas, addons I could install, advice

    - Test it (download the file from the link at the bottom of the post). I need testing in the following areas:

-Test to make sure the filters work

-Test to make sure Public Fox works

-Make sure school-appropriate websites load with the ad-blockers and filters

-Add on to it. I need people to download the file and add things to it. Take peoples ideas that they post then add them and post the new file in this thread.

-If you are a SysAdmin for a school, tell me if your school would accept software like this.

-Any other way you can think of!

The download doesn't work

A userchrome.css won't do much at my school because most of our kids are geeks and they would easily find and delete the userchrome.css file.

It needs a password on the tools menu, but I know that it might be hard to implement, so as long as the settings can be changed, I support removal.  Mods to the context menu to remove .... well i guess you could take out the whole menu, disable bookmarks,  remove  items in menus which are unnecessary or exploitable, and examine keyboard shortcuts for vulnerabilities.

See http://phoenixfox.info/forums/index.php?topic=15.0 to see what Phoenix Fox is doing. You may be able to help as you have already done something like this.

This has access to the add-ons so the user can disable them and things, this could be solved with userchrome.css disabling the tools menu.

 Edit:

I have been testing this quite heavily and have found that if you go on a site not permitted you can just click edit preferences and change that! lol, I have made a new splash, and done a userchrome.css removing the tools menu.
