lost functions basis an otherwise

I have firefox 5.0 and after it last updated I lost the back function the bookmarks don't automaticly load anymore and my last session isn't saved there are probably even a few more I haven't discovered yet but thgese are the most glaring even tried a clean install

 need a solution for this

There is no Firefox 5.0, perhaps you downloaded some other software or a bogus Firefox.

This (Spreadfirefox.com) is a marketing site, not a support forum. 

Please  visit one of the great Mozilla support places and ask your questions there.
