Why i switched

Firefox is so much more stable than IE will ever be....got tired of IE crashing and freezing up. I was living in the dark ages before i found Firefox.

One of my ex's introduced me to it while I was living with her. She's a serious technology buff, unlike me, and she pointed out to me how easy it is for computers to become infected via IE. I don't know how accurate her statement was, but frankly, I wasn't willing to lose valuable information, so I switched.

I recently made my friend come over to FF too, when I realised his MySpace account was being used to send out phishing bulletins. I don't know for sure if it was Firefox 2 or the Adblock Plus add-on I use that alerted me to the questionable content of the page I was being directed to, but I made sure he switched to FF, pronto! Not a single dodgy bulletin since (yay!)

Those are some of the reasons of why I switched to Firefox also.

I experienced many crashes in the former, as stable declared versions of firefox, however, my current one 2.0.0.1 (Iceweasel) hasn't crashed once yet.. maybe because it's a Debian built.
