For some reason, IE and Firefox try to get the Firefox buttons and various other images from 127.0.0.1/localhost. No idea why.

To see if you have the same problem, copy the image location from the HTML and paste it into the location bar. If the browser redirects to http://127.0.0.1/clear.cgi, you have the same problem as me.

Perhaps you are blocking remote images (not coming from the current server).

Hey,

I have the same problem. I wanted to have a Firefox button on my site, so I went to the page with the buttons, but I only saw the code, not the preview of the buttons. Then I copypasted the code in my site, but still no button. But I can see the button with Internet Explorer 7.

I think it's a bug in Firefox 2. With Firefox 1.5 I had no problems with the buttons.

 Greetz,

Rawdiver

The new adblock plus filtersets have a bad habit of blocking spreadfirefox. So I made an exception rule for firefox buttons and the buttons could display again.
