Spreadfirefox.com extension

I check the "track" page pretty often. I think that alot of members would love an extension that notifies them of new posts in topics they're subscribed to. Something like the Adsense Notifier. It would definitely make things a lot easier and would hopefully increase participation in the posts.

I would be willing to do it myself, if I only knew how.

There is a RSS feed to spreadfirefox.com that will notify you when there is a new post.

as 1 of the parts of the re-vamping of this site. However, we did not make any decision on it (yet) Ian?

However, we wrote out some ideas so if some-one wants to make one, and is interested in our ideas, please PM me.

try going to https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-mdc and subsribing to the mailing list and then post a message to be sent to every one asking for a developer(s) to help create this brill idea.

I would help if i could but i am only a low level website developer (free lance) nothing to do with mozilla.

You can get all of the info to learn how to make extensions and themes.
The support from mozillaZine extensions topic is awesome for learning all about extensions.
But where you get the walk through is from the
Mozilla Developer Center.
I've never had time to learn but I have
scanned over the instructions and it's definitely doable. That's why there's over a thousand of them. :)
