Open source wants to beat Microsofts "#¤

You have got to love this!

After France switching for Open souce, the largest cities in the Netherlands want to also...

Are there similar stories in you country ongoing? Please link them here.

Should be assist cities and governments with tutorials about Firefox, how to use it on a network, Features of Firefox in Linux and so forth...

You have them: link them here. We do not have them: make them and link them here...

Then we can start writing to these people and offer our support! If we pro-actively support these switches with tutorials etc.. they are likely to stick to Firefox and do not switch to Kameleon, Safari or Opera... Just a thought

unfortunately, i imagine that microsoft has a sizeable lobbying power in the u.s. government, so i wouldnt get my hopes up for a standardized offical use here... its really unfortunate.

I posted a short description in English on Digg about this news item a little while ago. The original document is unfortunately only in Dutch.

Just for fun I took the initiative to offer our communities help. I send them an email including my contact details and my linked-in profile so they will take me seriously (I hope).

website

Of course if they have extensive contacts with Mozilla Europe they do not need any help, but if you not shoot an arrow, one cannot miss either, right?

Some one here did post about video tutorials, who knows the link?

thanks
