My dad will NOT switch. I've tried everything, but I will get him to switch. Check my blog for the progress.

Visit my "Try Firefox" site.  There's a consolidated list of reasons to switch to Firefox here.  Hope it helps!

What are his reasons for not switching?  What have you done so far to get him to switch?  Remember: Don't force the decision on him.  People have the right to choose.

Tell him, that if he installs Firefox, that he still has the choice of using Firefox or his normal web browser. This may overcome his feeling of loosing what he is used to. If he is using IE, advise him that Firefox is far more secure , and has many more features. It is "hard to teach an old dog new tricks". I am over 60 years of age, and tried Firefox very cautiously. Although I still have IE, I use only Firefox. If he knows that he will not loose the use of his current browser, he may give it a try. He will have the choice of either. I am sure that once he does try, he will be using Firefox. He can easily import his book marks (favorites) and history. If he does not like Firefox, it is easily un-installed, without causing any problems. Firefox rules.
Good Luck.
