Thunderbird Marketing?

My 2 thoughts on marketing Thunderbird:

  1. market the product B2B as a roll-in with various security providers' packages - providers who want to be "software neutral", etc.
  2. anything... I mean, when was the last time you saw a Thunderbird ad or logo in any widespread campaign?

I personally do my best to promote Thunderbird on my site and around the Web.
You can find some promotional materials here.
I agree that it could be more aggressively promoted but its success is pretty amazing considering that marketing for it has been a bit light.

ken has a good point onliny time i see it thunderbird come up is when people are looking for a free e-mail program or a way of getting there e-mail with out using there web browser
