FireFox Email?

The discussion is on! There have been recent discussion in the discussion forums about FireFox Email, or FoxMail. So I have decided to do a blog entry about this!

To have a FireFox email, the Mozilla/FireFox Browser company must have an address, like example@firefox.com, or example@foxmail.com, or example@firefox.org, or example@foxmail.org.

Suppose we use example@firefox.com/.org we have to create an email system smiliar to Yahoo's or Gmail's. Then there is all the other complicated stuff of getting emails sent, security, and much much more.

If we use foxmail.com/.org, there'll just be an extra step to the process of getting FireFox Mail! The extra step, is getting a domain name of foxmail.com/.org, and there will be worries that the domain name is already taken!

If YOU want to comment on this, you can click on the comment link OR you can go to the FireFox Mail discussion thread!

Foxmail.(com|org) is taken by a Chinese guy/company.

Some advice, don't post domain names that you are interested in on public forums before you have them securily registered.

Registrant:
Tencent Technology (Shenzhen), Company Limited
   10/F, Fiyta Building, Gaoxinnanyi Avenue
   Southern District of Hi-tech Park
   Shen Zhen, Guang Dong 518057
   CN
   Domain Name: FOXMAIL.COM
   Record expires on 21-Sep-2010.
   Record created on 04-Sep-2005.
