Giving a Presentation to a Computer User Group

Hello!

I run a computer user group.  I am trying to promote Firefox to my user group, and would like a powerpoint presentation that outlines the pros of firefox, the ease of the install, etc.

These are basic users, and there are about 100 in the group.  I have searched online, and in the forums, and have found people talking about making them, but either no link to the presentation, or the presentation is WAYYY in depth.

The tutorial recommended here is good, but obviously not in powerpoint- and it is a bit much information for them to digest at once.  I will not have internet access to give this presentation and would just like to make it simple and convincing, to get the users to download and install and just try it out.

My other concern is that about 50% of these users is on dial up (we are in a rural area) and therefore  I am wondering about distributing on CD.  I know they won't go online to buy a CD.  Any alternatives?

Help would be appreciated,

Thanks!

If it's for a bunch of computer illiterates, they won't even know what a browser is...They only care about checking their AOL mail if and when they use a computer.

Props to the CD idea.  Burn a 100 copies and put "Firefox 12.0" on it.  It'll work like a charm.

You really shouldn't have to worry about dialup internet. From my experience with my dialup connection, it would take 20 minutes AT MOST to download Firefox, probably less.

Do you have the ability to hook up your PC to a projector?
How many users are in the group?
How many PC’s?
PM me, I may have some alternative materials.

Firemonger has Firefox and Thunderbird on it.
You can download Firemonger for free and then burn it to cd to distibute. Perhaps you can show them how to use Firefox as well.
