HELP! EVERY THING IN MY FAVORITE IS GONE FOR SOME REASON. I JUST CLOSED IT ONCE AND THE NEXT TIME I OPENED IT IT WAS GONE.I HAVE VERSION 1.0.7 AND I HAVE BEEN USING IT FOR VERY LONG!

That was a bug in 1.0 that was fixed in 1.5.

This happens often to me as well. I presume we're both using the latest versions, and Bugzilla is no help, there are a billion threads reporting this.

 

I resort to saving my favourites in IE and re-importing them.

In bookmark manager u can import the latest bookmarks ( u can always  find a backup of them in html in the C:\Documents and Settings\"user"\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\"some dir"\bookmarkbackups directory).

Every Bookmark is saved as an Individual file (if u have 200 bookmarks, thats 200 files) as opposed to firefox saving 'em all as a single file (which is convenient when u try to import them manually into places like del.icio.us)

Ever looked at the difference in bookmark files for firefox and explorer?

 

 

The reason IE never loses them is becasue there's some guy reading them, and he has them written down. Along with your SocialS number and every program on your computer
