I have always been into alternative browsers and have used IE 3 (LOTS),
IE 4, IE 5, IE 6, Netscape 3 (LOTS), NC 4 (LOTS),Netscape 6, 7, Moz
1.3, 1.4, etc (LOTS) but they always seemed crashy, slow, and lacking in simplicity. I had difficulty understanding the cool power of Moz 1.3/1.4 and Netscape was just clunky, buggy and weak. I hated IE since version 4. I switched to Firefox (at version 0.6) and haven't looked back, but on Mac and Linux I sometimes still use alternate browsers (Safari especially.) I never use IE 6 except to access IE only sites.
