If the purpose of your signature is to encourage others to use Firefox then try using a slogan like "Get Firefox, I have ;)" or words to that effect.

There's probably little value in representing 1.5.0.1 as it's unlikely to mean much to the majority of people ;)

It's great to use signatures in forums, well done. (as long as the form allows big sigs)

I'm a frequent visitor to one online message boards.....the Atlanta Falcons ones. I do have a banner on there that I used to help spread the browser.

Also, I do a lot of threads that relate to Firefox and from what I've seen, a very large percentage of those who post on the AFMB do use it.

TRY ADDING THIS HTML TO THE SIGNATURE BOX:

<a href="http://www.mozilla.com/firefox"><img style="border: 0px solid ; width: 373px; height: 108px;" alt="Firefox 1.5.0.1" src="http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d172/foamydasquirrel/firefox1.jpg"></a>

WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE:

Firefox 1.5.0.1

Most  forums do not allow HTML because it makes it much easier to launch a site-wide attack.

the bb code that someone else suggested would be sufficent

I like it, it's different. You could always replace the 1.5.0.1 with www.GetFirefox.com so that they'd get the message in the forums that you visit.
