Mozilla Lightning

I’m a huge fan of all Mozilla products but Firefox and Thunderbird are my favorites.
I just discovered Lightning which is a calendar extension for Thunderbird (that’s over simplifying it). This thing is awesome. Great interface, very intuitive, a lot of bells and whistles. If you don’t use Thunderbird, then what’s wrong with you?
But if you do use Thunderbird, you’ll love this extension. It’s basically 2 applications merged into one. Checkout the link to the full screenshot. You really can’t appreciate it without seeing Lightning in full view.
The screenshot is Lightning with the Aquabird theme for Thunderbird (my default).

Working on a Thunderbird theme and it needs Lightning support.  Can you give me any guidance on how to achieve this?  Or can I borrow your code?

It's actually an old theme created by Elric Erekose which has now been updated to be compatible with 2.0.
The new author is Brett Bodine and you can get his e-mail address here.

Sunbird is a mozilla Calendar. Overall, Sunbird is a better calendar than lightning.

Just as a note, Lighting is on version 0.1.  It's an alpha (development) version, so it does has some bugs that can annoy users. It should be used with caution.

I use Mozilla Sunbird 2.0, which is pretty much the same thing but on a separate application, and I am very satisfied with the experience, even if some bugs are truly annoying. I tried Lightning for a while but it didn't seem to have everything on Sunbird, yet, so I went back. I want to switch, but I think I'll wait till the project is a little more mature.

If it's important, send me a PM

Thanks, I absolutely should have mentioned that.
I set up Lightning in its own Tbird Profile.
I recommend that users do that for anything new that they want to try out, whether it be for Firefox Thunderbird or other.

Thanks for the heads up. I use Thunderbird but never as an organizer. I do, however, use a third party application for that and I'm gonna change over to this awesome extension.
