Opening download manager crashes my firefox

(i hope this is the right fourm :x) But yea I was downloading some stuff today and then I get the blue screen of death I simply restart. When my computer reboots I go back to downloading then my firefox crashes, now everytime I try to open the download manger it crashes my firefox, any help?

get to the regestry and delete support.com under hkey user and machine in the software folder. then restart and try a fresh copy of mozilla and before that erase any trace of mozilla in ur cookies and files and clean ur pc with adaware you have a tracer thats stopping ur download. try adaware from lavasoft.us.organd then google stinger in type nai...

If that does not work reinstall windows and try again, but keep the ie as the main browser but don't ever ever use it...
