Get Linux instead

Why are you faffing around with windows, the only reson I don't get Linux is because I can't be bothered to partition my hard drive...

EBUYER are even selling a lowish spec computer for £162 now that comes with Mandrake Linux!

Try A Linux Live CD

I would suggest downloading a Live CD to try out. I think the best one for Windows peops is the Ubuntu Live CD Linux Distribution. It even comes with Firefox :-D . You can download it at http://www.ubuntu.com/. Linux is far more advanced, secure, stable and more flexible than Windows.

I would also recommend Linux over Windows. A good distribution is SUSE Linux, which includes Firefox, OpenOffice, and many other applications.

 Its nothing to do with Firefox, I security tested the thing for a week and I hate it already, I'm not going too be using it.

Also, it comes with IE7 *Feels Ill*

Windows Vista is the next OS

Windows Vista is the next OS and it will succeed XP.

It will available sometime around 2007.

Rumors are it will cost 99.99 dollars and the upgrade from legitimate XP will be free.

 Remember these are only rumors

 It has better security, a two layer firewall, antispyware etc

 The interface is really clean and quite cool.

 Yes many people hate it because it isn't DONE YET.

 Anyway I'm going off topic so just google it

Vista is more than likely

Vista is more than likely due in 2006, but know Microsoft, maybe 2007.
u r right, it looks pretty cool, but it needs more polish before the final.

I wonder if Firefox will have a version for Vista, cause of the diffrent APIs and such? An icon update for FX would be nice too, since the icons are going to be like PNG's in Vista.

No need for seperate version - works just fine on Vista

I'm running firefox right now on the December CTP. Works perfectly. I tried using the IE7 included and it was horrendously slow and had more than just page rendering bugs (it had paint rendering bugs, like flickering when scrolling). Firefox is ultra fast on vista.
