bookmarks glitch

I just lost all my firefox bookmarks due to a box that popped up - I clicked default user instead the name I previously entered,  and then it went to all my IE bookmarks....Can I get them back?  Any ideas would be appreciated!

That happened to me once

I'm not sure what brings the window up, but you should be abloe to recover your bookmarks by locating your previous user folder and importing the file "bookmarks.html". Hope it works out for you.
