Site needs a page background colour set.

The title should be self-explanatory. SFx has the font set to black but doesn't set the page background colour to anything, so anyone using e.g. white text on black will find most of the site unusable.

You are right. And it's a configuration that have be made by the site owners, not by the browser user through extensions or any another local configuration.

Try this Extension

There is an Accessibility toolbar that let’s you change background colors and text colors when you need to instead of going into Tools etc.
