Billy's Firefox 1.5 Wallpaper

Oh no! Someone recently ruined my day by saying that most of my blogs and comments are anti-IE.  So, in a dramatic reversal, I have decided to make something Firefox-ish, just for the hell of it.

Ladies and gentlemen, get out your pencils! Go to deviantArt to download this by simply clicking the image!

Do you actually have a clue what copright is and how it works? That date says when it was made. The reason for a date range is for items whichcan take a long time to produce. IT IS NOT FOR TRYING TO CLAIM WHEN COPYRIGHT IS VALID FOR!!!!!!!!!!

So unless you have discovered time travel and gone forward in time 1000 (ish) years then that is clearly a false statement! (Obviously if you have discovered time travel then I appoligise and I know of several people that could be very interested in your amazing discovery). The length of copyright is determined by law (unless you choose to surrender it before that time). This obviously changes from country to country, however something that says copyright 2000 for instance does NOT mean thats when the copyright expires. Otherwise I could copy WindowsXP because its copyright date is in the past.

Its a pitty your not a proper FF supporter. One of the thing that makes Firefox so great is its Open Source. This means that anyone can download it, copy it, modify it, redistribute it, even sell it. Pity that you seem to detest that ideal to such a high extent you try to abuse copyright law by putting falsified information on your copyright and attempt to superceed the rights granted by copyright law. Maybe you should go promote IE, the Microsoft Co-orporation are big fans of copyright and I'm sure they would love to have someone who abuses copyrights like you do.

[edit] This is from www.intellectual-property.gov.uk

Another useful step for a copyright owner to take when copyright material is
published is to mark it with the international copyright symbol © followed
by the name of the copyright owner and year of publication.

Also in the UK copyright expires 70 years after the death of the author (so uless you live till the year 2935 then your copyright is going to expire before 3005)

thank you for pointing that out, however the copyright statement was a joke in the first place (1000 years is unreasonable anyway)

I KNOW about Copyright laws. In all my official works ToBePublished (i.e. my novels, go ask Jackson Peebles) I've brandished the 'Copyright 2005 Billy Eakkachaichanvet' line and even got an attorney to review it (how cool is that?). does it matter? no way, it's the underlying work below the 'easily editable' copyright that matters a whole lot

*big smile! you're on camera*

P.S. I'm not changing it

If SpreadFirefox, or even Firefox itself, still exists in 3005, I'll give it to you. Most likely though, Firefox will be superceded by Waterbear Mind Explorer, the moon will probably be a massive serverfarm with microwave dishes,  search engime results will most likely be beamed into everyone's heads depending on what they think, and aliens will get spyware from Internet Explorer 90000.

IE 90000?

Judging from Microsoft's current pace, by year 3005 they'll be on Internet Explorer 12.

You're hilarious! I don't mean to encourage you, well maybe I do it's entertaining.
But something puzzles me, why will IE be around and not Mozilla? Or did they create Waterbear?

You think anyone could actually get rid of IE? No, no, no. Microsoft unfortunately deals in malicious, self-developing, perforated(as in holey, as in non-safe, as in having security holes/vulnerabilities) excuses for software that would live on even if another one of Microsoft's own self-developing computer killing programs kills every computer in exsistance, because they ARE actually smart enough not to let their own malicious attacks screw with their own software, so in the year 3005(aproximately 1,000 years from now) there will not only be Internet Explorer 90,000, but also IE 90,001 (released in the year 2984) and also IE 90,001 SP67, to make up for their lack of a major update to their browser in more than 20 years.

No, I'm afraid we will ne'er be rid of the plague...

I know...I'm not really funny, but my theory is that if I don't think too much while I'm writing something, eventually someone will find something I say funny...maybe. Still waiting...

EDIT: none of this is actually serious, you know...lol don't attack me or anything for anti-IE stuff please.
