What are you talking about? What main page? What links couldn't you click? Are you asking for support? I really don't like it when people don't talk clearly.

my friend, is Security and Ease-Of-Use.

Almost all the PC-Makers out there ship their Windows-Installed products with nothing more than IE, which comes with the OS. And most people are just too afraid to try something new.

This site, this forum is to let them know that There IS an Alternative. Apart from not complying with web standards, it is simply not safe to use Internet Explorer. This means that the browser you are using can allow spyware and other kinds of malicious programs to automatically install themselves on your computer without even asking you for permission.

To avoid all this, simply download and install Mozilla Firefox and start using it instead of Internet Explorer. Firefox is even faster, easier to use and includes more convenient features such as Tabbed Browsing. Eventhough IE7 will have tabbed browsing too (which was inspired by Firefox's success due this feature in the first place), it still relies on ActiveX and such crap which are the reasons for the insecurity in IE.

Extensions lets you customize your web experience. Most useful ones such as AdBlock (reduces the bandwidth needed for viewing those sites crawling with ads) and StumbleUpon ( Online community which has the potential to surpass Google itself as the easiest way of finding sites with topics of interest ) make life a lot easier and merrier for web surfers.
