put email in the name for a while. the masses can't tell what thunderbird is.....

the most common responce when telling people about firefox and thunderbird is what is it? thunderwhat? fireforest? huh.... I dig the names alot personally. But "adam" who just wants his computer to stop getting spyware or have a email app. that doesn't corrupt thinks thunderbird is a game. Once you get someone to use the apps they are sold forever.

I like to call it the "quark" syndrome. in the 90's no one outside of design, printing and prepress knew what Quark was... but Ohhhh Pagemaker.. every mom across the nation was using that crappy application.

All I am saying is that the better, more secure Thunderbird EMAIL app. needs to be communicated. some people I know use firefox and have heard of this "thinderbird" but have no idea what it is?

just something I noticed. I'll go back under my desk now.

thanks

Just like to agree, it took me ages to bother to check out what thunderbird was and found that I like it, eventually!
