Mac Dashboard Widget

I've created a Dashboard widget for OS X 10.4. I'm not sure if there's some approval process this needs to go through before I make it publicly available on Apple's site, but check it out and let me know who I might need to clear it with. You can download it from http://www.ruske.net/downloads/firefoxcounter/FirefoxCounter.zip.

The Mozilla Foundation is very cool about the use of the Firefox logo. I received a response this morning from an email I sent to licensing@mozilla.org permitting my use of the artwork in the widget --- I just need to let people know up-front that the logo is a trademark used by permission, and that I'm not affiliated with the Mozilla Foundation. Pretty reasonable terms, I think!

For those of you who aren't Mac users, here's a screenshot:

First, my apologies for duplicating this other thread. Don't know how I missed it, but hey, it was late... I'm curious what became of that other widget.

About approvals, I'm speaking in particular about the use of artwork similar to the Firefox buttons. I wrote to Steven Garrity, and he pointed me to the new identity guidelines --- the buttons on this site are sort of a pre-existing condition. He also directed me to Rafael Ebron of the Mozilla foundation regarding permission to use the logo in the widget. While it's helpful to have people creating things around Firefox, I understand and agree that it's important to be sure that the use of the logo doesn't create confusion, such as the illusion of "official" support for some project.

I'll follow up when I hear from Rafael, in case someone else might find the information helpful.
